Accounting Support
Newton County Library System, Georgia

JAT is providing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting assistance to the Newton County Library System in the areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, budget development, payroll, quarterly financial reports, and audit reports.

JAT is performing a wide variety of accounting support activities to the Newton County Library System, including:

 •      General ledger entry for accounts receivable/accounts payable

•      Bank reconciliations

•      General ledger posting of for daily cash reports

•      Enter and review payroll

•      Preparation, reconciliation, and filing of W2 tax forms

•      Preparation, reconciliation, and filing of quarterly and annual payroll
reports

•      Preparation of reports for quarterly board meetings and review with
Library Director

•      Preparation of budget reports as needed and salary funding requests;
review with Library Director

• Provide required reports from accounting system and supporting
documentation as needed for audits
